| Oversikt: | Teenager Zach Cooper (DYLAN MINNETTE) ist nicht gerade begeistert, als er von einer Großstadt in eine Kleinstadt umziehen muss. Doch als er die schöne Hannah (ODEYA RUSH), die im Haus nebenan wohnt, kennenlernt, und in Champ (RYAN LEE) auch noch rasch einen guten Freund findet, sieht er einen ersten Silberstreif am Horizont. Doch jeder Silberstreif hat auch eine Wolke. Und die von Zach taucht auf, als er entdeckt, dass Hannahs mysteriöser Vater kein Geringerer als R.L. Stine (JACK BLACK) ist, der Autor der erfolgreichen „Gänsehaut“-Romane.
